wappapello Lake Adventure book
16-page Activity Book that explores recreational activities, wildlife, and the different habitats found in the Wappapello Lake area.
The activity book was commissioned by The US Army Corps Of Engineers- St Louis District.
I was commissioned to illustrate the entire book and I collaborated with the Art Director to design the layout. The goal was to combine illustrations, photography, text, and several activities like matching sections, coloring options, a maze, etc, to help promote recreation and environmental stewardship at Wappapello Lake.

Willie B. Safe is a character created by The US Army Corps Of Engineers- St Louis District.
In addition to the book, I was commissioned to redesign Willie and create versions of him to showcase diversity and that anyone can be a park ranger.
